The farming communities are the beating heart of Italian and international agricultural production. For this reason Fattoria dei Sapori chooses farms that are not merely production companies but that are an integral part of the social and cultural life of a region and it only selects farms with the highest ethical standards.
SA8000 Certification
SA8000 certification, created by the International Labour Organization (ILO), reflects provisions contained in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
It is the first and most important standard that certifies the "social responsibility of a company" and ensures that it protects the rights of workers, in terms of health and safety, and the possibility of having good living conditions for them and their families and access to all educational levels. All international partners of Fattoria dei Sapori are certified SA8000.
BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification
The quality and safety of fruit are not only an ethical value of Fattoria dei Sapori but also a requirement to protect the health of consumers. The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety certification is based on international protocols of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) for food safety, and allows monitoring of the safety standards of fruit, from the land to the arrival in the consumers' homes. All national and international partners of Fattoria dei Sapori are certified BRC Global Standard for Food Safety.
